Google developer challenge scholarship: Android basics

Yes! Yes! Yes!

I’ve been accepted into the Google developer challenge scholarship and I started my course: Android basics!

This is a 3 months course by Udacity of android development, after that the 2000 best students will get into a nanodegree program  on the udacity platform.

I was so excited when I saw the e-mail from udacity in my mail box and now I’m studying how to create apps in XML using Android Studio and I already made my first app!

The lessons are online and they consist in videos and exercises that students can do in 3 months, so basically I can decide when to study watching the videos and coding.

You’ll ask “how can you study for this course if you are a backpacker in Australia at the moment?”

Well now after work I usually dedicate one hour per day and I can do everything, sometimes I have more time to study, for example when I have a day off, but this is good for me ’cause I can focus better if I know that I don’t have time to be inattentive!

Studying while travelling is a perfect combination and I’m really enjoying it!
